The firm behind the platform.
Built for South African businesses.
Zorah is the firm that moves South African businesses onto one operating platform and stays involved while they run on it. Built, configured and supported by us — not licensed and walked away from.
South African businesses don’t need another tool. They need fewer tools that actually work together.
The middle is best served by an operating platform — one database, one identity, one audit trail — plus a firm that takes responsibility for configuring it, integrating it, automating around it, and staying involved while you run on it. Not a vendor selling a login.
Most growing South African businesses end up running on a stitched-together stack: an accounting package, a CRM, a helpdesk, a payroll tool, a project tracker, and a stack of spreadsheets that quietly become the source of truth. None of them talk to each other.
The available answers are either too small — one tool for one problem, still leaving the rest fragmented — or too big, with enterprise platforms quoted at numbers that don’t make sense for a 50-person business. The middle was empty.
Zorah was started to fill that middle.
Four principles we hold tightly. They shape every engagement before scope or price.
Firm
Not vendor
We don't sell software. We engage on a fixed monthly fee to configure, deploy and stay involved. The platform underneath is part of what we deliver — not the product we're trying to sell.
Capability
Not features
We describe what's possible when the platform is configured — not what ships in the box. Automations are examples of work we configure for clients, not items on a feature spec sheet.
Honest
About AI
AI on our platform is an exception layer and a drafting assistant — it surfaces anomalies, drafts commentary, reasons over your data. It doesn't replace the people running your business, and we don't pretend otherwise.
Fixed fee
No drift
Pricing is a fixed monthly fee, sized to the engagement, recalibrated annually against actual volume. No hourly drift. Tier changes happen on 30 days' notice, in either direction.
Small team. Each person directly involved in client engagements — no account-management buffer between you and the people building.

Nick Sandu
Chief Executive
Spent the last decade building and running operations inside small and mid-sized South African businesses. Started Zorah after watching the same pattern repeat: businesses outgrowing spreadsheets, stitching together five or six tools, ending up with no single source of truth.
Jerry Olupot
Head of Engineering
Leads platform engineering. Background in reliable backend systems in regulated industries — financial services, telco. Owns the shape of how the platform is configured, integrated and run in production.

Shiven Patel
Head of Product
Leads product and technical review. Background in product strategy and applied AI. Owns the line between what AI is doing well on the platform today and what's still better handled by a person — and how to communicate that honestly.
More platforms where the workflows are different enough to warrant one. Deeper AI where the data is clean enough to deserve it.
More verticals where workflows demand them
The Zorah platform is what most South African businesses in the messy middle actually need — one database, one identity, one audit trail, configured to how your business actually runs. We’re focused on doing that one thing well rather than splintering attention across multiple products.
Deliberately patient
We treat AI as an exception layer because that’s what it’s genuinely good at today — surfacing anomalies, drafting commentary, reasoning over structured data. The further we move from that, the more careful we are. We’d rather under-promise on AI now than retrofit honesty later.
The firm SA businesses call when one partner is enough
Long term, we want to be the firm South African businesses call when they’ve outgrown spreadsheets and they want one partner — not five — to run the operating layer of their business. That’s the shape we’re building toward.
See if we’re the right firm for your business. Forty-five minutes. We’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit.
